Phuket Island Travel -1, Thailand
In the summer of 2019, I went on a Phuket trip. I will post a total of five days’ trip in writing over two episodes.
Phuket is one of Southeast Asia’s leading resorts and is an island in Thailand. There are many Asians, but we can confirm that there are many Westerners. Literally, came from all over the world to enjoy the summer vacation.
The Schedule
- Hotel Clover → Old Town → Phatong Beach → Jungcylon → Walking Street
I arrived in Phuket at 12 p.m. by plane from Korea at 8 p.m. In Phuket, grabs are a cheap way to get to your destination by car.
I arrived at the first hostel, Hotel Clover Patong. The reason we chose the hotel is because Patong is the hottest and most popular place in Phuket. There are many things to see, including Patong Beach and Patong Street.
After arriving late at night, we had a good night’s sigh and had a simple breakfast before heading for the Old Town.
The Old Town is lined with a variety of Portuguese-style shops, and there are also many great local restaurants. I took pictures in front of the colorful buildings and had a cool drink here.
The next destination is Patong Beach. Patong Beach is a place that many people visit, and the depth of the water is shallow, so even small children can play. Also, when you come in the evening, you can see the scenery of Patong Beach where the sun goes down. It is very beautiful. It is personally recommended to watch Sunset and watch Walking Street in the evening as Patong Beach is right in front of Walking Street.
There are several marine sports that you can enjoy in Patong Beach, including parasailing and jet boating. However, the ferry sale is a bit expensive, such as 700 to 1000 baht (27$ to 38$) in 15 minutes, and 1000 baht (38$) to 30 minutes. I did not ride because the price was more expensive than the Thai price.
From Patong Beach, I went straight to Jungceylon. Jungceylon is a modern shopping complex that is a great place to buy souvenirs from Phuket or snacks from Thailand.
In addition, there is a massage shop where you can relieve your tiredness during the trip. It is located not far from Patong Beach and can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot.
The last destination is Wiking Street. Walking Street is a popular entertainment district in Phuket.
Even women who climb up to the bar and dance with the purpose of a strange show for couples may be embarrassed by couples, but it can be a good sight for the first time. There is also a night market here, so you can enjoy Thailand’s famous Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and more
There are also a lot of live bars, so feel free to enjoy Phuket night while drinking a cocktail.
