Awesome Land ,Geoje Island
Korea has three sides of the sea, so there are many beautiful and beautiful islands around them. Among them, Geoje Island is the best shelter and charging station for those who want to find a quiet shelter in a busy society. if you leave from Seoul, there are direct buses to Geoje at once, but if you go through Busan, you can go to Geoje Bridge while admiring the beautiful view of the South Sea from the road
Especially, We can go through a submarine tunnel called ‘Gadeok Undersea Tunnel’ during We are going to the Geoje From Busan. I experience going under the sea by car (but I don’t know if it is
under the sea or on the ground because I can’t see it outside in tunnel. lol).
Anyway, after passing through this, you will face the panoramic scenery of Geoje Island. If you always smell the warm season and spring scent, you will experience that this is a true resting place.
The Places
Maemisung (geoje island)
Our first destination is ‘Maemiseong’. This place may look like a historic site, but surprisingly, it is a privately owned private property, and it is said that it is still under construction every
time. The view from the bottom looks like a castle that has existed for a long time, as the sea and granite castle are in harmony.
You can drive to the entrance to ‘Maemiseong’ Castle, but the road to Maemiseong Castle is not allowed to enter the car, so you must park in the parking lot in front of Maemiseong Castle. Especially on weekends, it is a place with a lot of people, so the parking lot may be insufficient.
It is above the castle. The castle itself is not very high, but if you sit across a wall and take a picture, it will create a great scene. I could feel the heart of the abundance of the sea that I cannot see in the city.
Hammok beach (geoje island)
Hammok Beach, located not far from Maemi Castle, unlike other beaches, has few people here, so you can see the scenery of a secluded beach. The peculiarity is that all the stones on the beach are made of round and round stones. However, these stones are owned by Geoje, so be careful when taking them with care.
The Room
We stayed at the Canary Pool Villa in the west of Geoje Island, each room has a private pool, and there is also a public pool outside.
The public pool is only available in the summer and is quite wide as seen in the photo below. That wide area like a pond is a public swimming pool. Although we came in winter, I wanted to use the pool again in summer
The resort pension is fairly neat. There are two types of lodgings in this pension, one with only one floor and the other one with two floors. There are private pool, barbecue facilities, and a private spa facility on the first floor, and you can watch movies through the beam project on the ceiling.
The beam project is at a height that is just right for use in the bedroom on the second floor. It’s a bit unfortunate that the railing on the second floor is a bit obstructive, but it looks great to be able to watch a movie using the beam shot from the second floor toward the wide wall.
The private pool can be used as a heated pool in winter, so you can enjoy a private time while swimming warmly in the winter.
